Is AI threatening ?

Have you ever wondered whether artificial intelligence (AI) makes us less capable? Is it possible that we become more reliant on technology and, as a result, lose some of our natural abilities? Let’s discuss it!

I received an email yesterday about how the Medium platform has cautioned against the content generated by artificial intelligence. The email discussed the actions Medium is taking to curb AI-generated content because the platform is intended for human writing and voice. However, it is essential to think about the humans who work behind the scenes to give voice to this AI-generated content. It is the human voice of someone who has yet to claim their work without attributing it to the source.

I have been reading about the repercussions of AI in education. As an elementary educator, I often hear teachers' legitimate concerns and parents' concerns about artificial intelligence in the staff meetings and teachers' lounges. I hear many conversations about how it will end learning and kill the brains of young students.

Students must have a clear goal in mind before starting any task. Once they identify their goal, we should consider the methods they can use to achieve it. We should also evaluate whether they require any form of support or scaffolding. Presenting them with various options and explaining how each can help them develop and grow is essential…
